Sloan's Liniment
Sloans Liniment (applied to the skin) is used to mitigate pain associated with recent muscle or joint injuries such as sprains, strains, or sports injuries. It is also mitigates pain from rheumatoid arthritis etc.
Role of key ingredients:
1.Cinnamon is considered a pain-killer due to its prostaglandin-inhibiting action
2. Eucalyptus oil is used as a flavoring agent
3.Oil of Wintergreen acts as topical pain mitigater and provides fast relief from muscle cramps.
4.Mentha arvensis oil was extracted and rubbed into the skin for aches and pains.
5. Capsaicin is a counter irritant which stimulates the release of a compound involved in communicating pain between the nerves in the spinal cord and other parts of the body thus decreases the intensity of pain signals in the body.
6.Cedrus deodara oil is used in arthritis, headache etc.
Directions of use:
Gently massage Sloans Liniment into the skin of the affected area. Allow the medicine to dry for at least 1 minutes before you wear clothes or gloves over the treated area.
Wash your hands immediately after using cream, unless your hands are part of the treated area
Do not wrap, bandage, or apply heat to the treated area.
