Kerala Ayurveda Nalpamaradi Keram
Kerala Ayurveda Nalpamaradi Keram is a face and body oil for summers, which can clear up the tan and reduce sun damage. It is enriched with “varnya” herbs that can remove tan, revealing soft, dewy, and glowing skin. Turmeric or haridra can protect skin from the sun and lightens dark spots. The bark of four ficus species or nalpamara can brighten the skin. Cooling and healing herbs like vetiver or usira can renew skin, and indian gooseberry or amla may reduce tan. These herbs, along with red sandalwood or raktachandana, indian madder or manjistha, and more, are cooked in coconut oil. Kerala ayurveda nalpamaradi keram follows the recipe found in the ancient ayurvedic text Sahasrayogam that might help repair skin and heal from sun damage.
